Church Government
At Redeemer Reformed Church, we hold to the Biblical pattern of presbyterian church government (see Acts 15). This means that our local church is governed by a Consistory composed of Pastor, Elders, and Deacons. 1 Timothy 3 lists the characteristics of those who serve in these offices.
Pastor Caleb Janson
Pastor Caleb grew up in central Minnesota and attended the University of Northwestern, St. Paul, for his undergraduate studies. During his time in college, he discovered the riches of Reformed theology, which led him to pursue a Master of Divinity degree at Westminster Seminary California. He subsequently served as the pastor of Gig Harbor United Reformed Church (URCNA) from 2020 to 2025. In November of 2025, Pastor Caleb accepted the call to become the next pastor at Redeemer Reformed Church. He considers it a privilege to serve this flock.
Pastor Caleb and his wife, McKenzie, have two children, Margot and Charles. As a family, they enjoy spending time outdoors, watching sports, and welcoming people into their home.
